The Shannondale Rehabilitation Center is a new 40,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art rehabilitative care center with resort-style amenities and top-of-the-line equipment. The amenities include high-level finishes and fixtures, plenty of seating space, large flat-screen televisions and USB plugs that come standard in every room. The center installed a mock-apartment area that allows guests to practice basic functions, such as getting in and out of bed, and loading the washer and dryer. There’s also a grocery store setting that allows guests to practice shopping with a cart, loading items into the shopping bags and unloading those items into the cabinets in the mock-apartment. The outdoor area enables guests to practice walking on the five different types of terrain they may experience while integrating into their normal routines.
