Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") describes the information practices of Johnson & Galyon, Inc. ("Johnson & Galyon," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we collect from visitors to our website at johnsongalyon.com and our social media pages (collectively, "Online Services"), how that information is used, how it may be shared with other parties, and what choices you have regarding your information.

By using or accessing our Online Services, you signify that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us using the information provided at the end of this Privacy Policy.

‍

1.    INFORMATION COLLECTED

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected about you when you use our Online Services. We collect two general types of information:

Personal Information means information that can be used to directly identify you, such as your name, email address, physical address, or phone number. We only collect Personal Information that you voluntarily provide to us — for example, when you contact us through our website, submit an inquiry, or communicate with us directly. We do not sell products or services through our website and do not collect payment or credit card information online.

Usage Data means information automatically collected when you visit our Online Services, such as the pages you viewed, how you arrived at our website, your browser type, your device type, and your computer's IP address. This data is collected through tools like Google Analytics and is used to understand how our site is used and to improve its performance. Usage Data is treated as non-personally identifying information unless it is combined with your Personal Information, in which case we treat the combined data as Personal Information under this Privacy Policy.

‍

2.    COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

We collect information about you in two ways: information you provide directly to us, and information collected automatically when you use our Online Services.

Information you provide directly includes anything you submit when you contact us through our website, request information, or communicate with us via email, phone, or social media.

A.   COOKIES

We and our third-party service providers use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as analytics pixels) to automatically collect certain Usage Data when you visit our Online Services. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites remember information about your visit.

We use cookies primarily to understand how visitors use our site and to improve its performance. When you first visit our website, you will be presented with a cookie consent notice. Unless you click "Reject Optional Cookies," you are agreeing to the use of optional cookies on your device and browser. You may decline optional cookies at any time by clicking "Reject" in the cookie consent banner. Please note that declining optional cookies will not affect your ability to use or navigate our website.

B.   TREATMENT OF AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED INFORMATION

We treat Usage Data as non-personally identifying information. If such information is combined with your Personal Information, we treat the combined information as Personal Information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.

C.   GOOGLE ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"), on our Online Services. Google Analytics collects Usage Data such as how often you visit our website, which pages you view, and general information about how you arrived at our site. We use this information solely to improve our website's performance and user experience. Google Analytics does not provide us with information that personally identifies you.

For more information about how Google collects, uses, and protects your data, please visit: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You may also opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

‍

3.    INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties.

We may share your Personal Information and Usage Data with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and conducting our business — such as website hosting, analytics, and communications services. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and are not permitted to use it for their own independent purposes.

The only third-party data service currently operating on our website is Google Analytics, which collects Usage Data as described in Section 2C above. We do not share your Personal Information with Google Analytics or any other third party for direct marketing or advertising purposes.

We may also disclose your information in the following circumstances:

  • To comply with applicable law, a court order, or other legal process, or in connection with a legal investigation
  • As necessary to protect the safety, property, or rights of Johnson & Galyon, our employees, customers, or the public
  • To enforce applicable terms, conditions, or agreements
  • In the event of a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
  • In aggregated or other non-personally identifiable form
  • With your consent

Except as described above, we will not disclose, rent, sell, or share your Personal Information with unrelated third parties.

‍

4.    INFORMATION SECURITY

We take reasonable steps to protect the Personal Information you provide to us from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. These measures include standard industry practices for securing data transmitted through our Online Services.

However, no method of electronically transmitting or storing data is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that your information will never be accessed, used, or disclosed in a manner inconsistent with this Privacy Policy. If you believe your Personal Information is being improperly used by us or any third party, please notify us immediately using the contact information at the end of this Privacy Policy.

While we take reasonable steps to govern our service providers' use and protection of your information, we do not control and are not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party services such as Google Analytics. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.

‍

5.    CHILDREN UNDER 13

Our Online Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any Personal Information through our website.

If we learn that we have inadvertently collected Personal Information from a child under 13, we will take prompt steps to delete that information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us using the information at the end of this Privacy Policy.

‍

6.    CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA") regarding your Personal Information, including:

  • The right to know what Personal Information we collect, use, disclose, or share about you
  • The right to delete Personal Information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information — we do not sell or share your Personal Information with third parties for their own marketing purposes
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

To submit a privacy request or inquiry, please contact us using the information at the end of this Privacy Policy.

A.   COOKIES AND OPTIONAL TRACKING

When you visit our website, optional cookies and analytics technologies (such as Google Analytics) may be used to collect Usage Data about your visit. You may decline optional cookies at any time by clicking "Reject" in the cookie consent banner displayed when you visit our website. Declining optional cookies will not affect your ability to use our website.

B.   DO NOT TRACK AND GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Our website does not currently respond to DNT signals. However, if your browser or device transmits a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal indicating a preference to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, we will treat that signal as a valid opt-out request to the extent required by applicable California law. Because we do not sell or share your Personal Information, this signal will have no practical effect on our data practices beyond what is already described in this Privacy Policy.

‍

7.    CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Privacy Policy last updated" date at the bottom of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.

If we make material changes to how we collect, use, or share your Personal Information, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you as required by applicable law.

If you have any questions about changes to this Privacy Policy, please contact us using the information below.
