The Loghaven Community is a collection of historic cabins located on a wooded 100-acre ridge in South Knoxville. The project consists of the rehabilitation of three historic log cabins and includes structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and landscaping upgrades.
In 2008, the Aslan Foundation purchased Loghaven, comprising several parcels, with the goal of preserving and enhancing the cabins and surrounding land. In 2015, the parcels were combined into a single lot and rehabilitation work began.
The cabins will serve as residences for visiting artists, for terms ranging from two to eight weeks.
