A 28,100 sq. ft. new medical office building with traditional steel structure, masonry and stone exterior was constructed for the Knoxville Dermatology Group. The new building consists of exam rooms, procedure rooms and offices with additional lease space for related practices.
Johnson & Galyon was shortlisted on qualifications and competitively bid the project against several other area General Contractors. Although we were the low bidder, the project was over budget. The Johnson & Galyon Estimating Department provided multiple value analysis options to assist in bringing the project in at an acceptable budget. After encountering a few challenges with nearby wetlands at the start, the project was completed on time in June of 2015.
