Over the last few years the University of Tennessee Knoxville ( UTK ) campus has initiated multiple campus beautification projects which have added greater appeal to campus areas. With decorative pavers, benches, seat walls, lighting and sidewalks UTK has created a more inviting atmosphere in areas such as the Engineering Quad, Torchbearer Plaza, Lake Loudon Intersection Improvements and the Ayres Hall North Slope. These changes coincide with UTK’s desire to become a more walkable campus by drawing attention to crosswalks and providing sidewalks along common paths. Johnson & Galyon Construction has been proud to be a part of the UT Campus Beautification Projects.
