Susan Bacon has been with Johnson & Galyon since 1991. She currently serves as chief financial officer and treasurer for the company. Before joining Johnson & Galyon, Bacon was a student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1986, graduating with Highest Honors. Prior to joining Johnson & Galyon, she worked five years in the audit division of two local public accounting firms and earned her CPA.
Susan has responsibility for Johnson & Galyon’s financial operations, human resources and administrative services. She works with the company’s leadership to ensure that finance and operations function efficiently, allowing construction operations to run smoothly.
Susan is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Knoxville, has been involved in Nucleus Knoxville and is currently serving on an investment committee for the United Way of Greater Knoxville. She and her husband, Michael, are actively involved with West High School, where their children, Ellen and Max, are students.
