Since 1985, Ellen Fowler has been a part of the Johnson & Galyon team and currently serves as a senior estimator and corporate secretary. In 1983, Fowler earned the first of two degrees. The first was in business administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with her second coming four years later from Louisiana State University in computer science.
She has worked on a wide array of projects throughout her career. These include Volunteer Landing, East Tennessee History Center, East Tennessee Veterans Memorial, East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, Episcopal School of Knoxville and multiple projects for Sevier County Bank.
When not at work, Ellen stays busy in the community. She is a member of the Executive Women’s Association, Downtown Rotary Club and was a graduate of the 2002 class of Leadership Knoxville. She is the national treasurer for CISV (Children’s International Summer Village), was on the Girl Scouts’ Board of Directors, and currently serves on the East Tennessee Foundation Board.
She and her husband, Gordon, have three children – James, Mary Jo and Aubin.
